On Monday, April 27, 2020, Governor Greg Abbott released The Governor’s Report to Open Texas. This document outlines the state’s measured and cautious plans for both identifying those made ill by COVID-19 and tracing those they came into contact with as well as reopening businesses in Texas that had previously fallen outside the designation of Essential.

The entirety of the plan includes minimum standard protocols for restaurants, movie theaters, museums, libraries, and more.
