City Council Extends Safer at Home Order to May 6, 2020

horizontal logo-trans background

At the Regular Session City Council meeting held April 7, 2020, the City Council reviewed the local disaster declaration and public health order and voted unanimously to approve a resolution extending the order until May 6, 2020.

This post has been edited, removing “The order mirrors Dallas County’s April 30” as the Duncanville Order is set to continue to May 6, the day after the next Duncanville City Council Meeting.

People are encouraged shelter in place, leaving their homes for only essential work or activities. Social distancing, which is to maintain at least 6 feet between persons, continues to be the best practice when outside the home to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
