Governor Abbott Lifts Mask Mandate, Opens Texas 100 Percent

Governor Greg Abbott today issued an Executive Order (GA-34) lifting the mask mandate in Texas and increasing capacity of all businesses and facilities in the state to 100 percent. The Governor made the announcement at Montelongo’s Mexican Restaurant in Lubbock in an address to the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.

The department is responsible for producing the annual State of the City Address presentation, maintaining Duncanville TV and televising City Council Meetings, producing the city’s newsletter, disseminating news releases and conducting interviews with the media, and providing oversight of the city’s website.

    📌 On Monday, 26 July, between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm, Oncor will be working on a transformer at Wheatland & Cockrell Hill (by RaceTrac) which will affect the City traffic signal at that intersection. We anticipate the signal will go to flash around 9:00 am after morning rush hour and should be back at full operation by 3:00 pm for afternoon rush hour. Temporary 4-way stop signs will also be deployed.     E. Danieldale Rd. Reconstruction & Utility Improvements (Main St. to US-67) Update: Pavecon continued to install the wastewater main under the inner westbound lane. Additionally, they prepped the eastbound lanes to receive all traffic during Phase 2 by removing the Duncanville monument, performing median cuts for the northern properties, placing temporary asphalt, and finalizing the traffic transitions at US-67 and Main St. City message boards have been installed at US-67 advising Wells Fargo & 7-Eleven customers to use the highway southbound frontage road. The new traffic pattern was scheduled for Tuesday, July 20th, however, it was rescheduled for Wednesday, July 21st, due to inclement weather.
