Crime Victims suffer physical and psychological trauma, additionally they may suffer emotionally and financially as well. In order for them to recover it is critical that they receive the appropriate support and intervention during the initial impact stage and throughout the criminal justice process. Through its partnership with various agencies throughout the community, the Crime Victims Assistance staff can assist with recovery in these areas. Our goal is to ensure that every victim has a voice and is aware of their Rights as Victims of Crime as well as the availability of Crime Victims’ Compensation.
