Recycling is picked up once per week by:
7:00 am
on your scheduled pickup day.
Place your recycling bins at the curb or alley.

Recycling Bins
New customers can pick up a recycling bin at the city when they request water service. Residents can also pick one up at the Service Center. If you would like to trade out your old bin for a new one, please bring it with you.
You can also request a recycling bin by contacting Jessica Smith or by calling Republic Services at (972) 225-4207. Please make mention if you would like a trade out of your old recycling bin for the new one.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why was my recycling not picked up today?
Recycling bins must be placed at your trash pick-up location by 7:00 am. Recycling and garbage must be separate from each other. Plastic disposal containers (trash bags) should not be placed in recycle bins and only a recycle bin can be used for the collection of recyclables. Recycling bins cannot have obstructions in front of them, such as vehicles.

Where can I recycle my computer or other electronics?
The City of Duncanville hosts two annual cleanup events, the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event and Sweep it Out Saturday, where you have the opportunity to bring electronics, among other items, for recycling and disposal.
